Hosts That Could Potentially Support Symphony
- GoDaddy: Do not appear to have XSLT support for PHP4, but they do have it for PHP5 on shared servers. If you want to enable it, edit your “.htaccess” file as follows:
AddHandler x-httpd-php5 .php AddHandler x-httpd-php .php4
Hosts That Do Not Support Symphony
This is a list of hosts that do not currently support Symphony. If you have run Symphony correctly on any of these hosts, please let us know so we can update the list.
- JustFree Web Hosting: Justfree webhosting does not give permissions to create or edit .htaccess files. Therefore, mod_rewrite will not work.
- Yahoo Web Hosting: Yahoo small business webhosting does not give permissions to create or edit .htaccess files. Therefore, mod_rewrite will not work.
